I don’t spend money buying someone else’s food (restaurant). As a home chef, I try to present food that is tasty, healthy and look good too. My kids don’t miss Micky Dees. It does require organization though. You can’t allow yourself (as home chef) to leave the home unprepared. If you are going to a sporting event, for example, and you know that you are going to be there for several hours, it will take effort on your part to make sure lunch and/or snack is prepared for your travel. Otherwise, you will find yourself (like others) in the same boat….”I’m hungry. What’s to eat?”. If you are not prepared, you have no other option than to purchase food on the whim. If you are on a budget, it strips your financial resources to go to places you didn’t plan for it to go. At the end of the week, you will look into your pocket/purse and see no money and wonder where it all went.
