Size Matters When Eating Healthy

My biggest challenge when cooking is to not overeat. As you know, I cook from scratch most of the time. I choose fresh ingredients (although I am known for using dry herbs). The food tastes good! I test while cooking to make sure that the flavor is what I want it to be. Then, I eat. Somewhere in my mind I think “since this meal is healthy, I can eat more.” Not true. A calorie is a calorie is a calorie no matter how healthy it is. So, when serving, I have to focus on the size of the portions and to try not to get a second helping.
